(NEW YORK) — Robinson Cano and the Seattle Mariners have agreed on a ten-year deal worth $240 million, a source told ESPNdeportes.com.
Earlier reports on Friday claimed that Cano was still undecided about a nine-year deal that had been offered.
The five-time All-Star spent eight seasons with the Yankees before becoming a free agent. He’s batted .314 with 27 home runs and 107 RBI’s last season.
The source said that Cano must undergo a physical on Monday before the deal can become official.
