‘Ron Burgundy’ Hosts Local Newscast

Viewers in Bismarck, N.D., were treated to a very special newscast on Saturday when Will Ferrell appeared as Ron Burgundy, his character from the 2004 comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
Staying in character, Ferrell read the news with plenty of class and even bantered with his co-anchors, remarking after a sports segment, “I’ve never seen fighting in a hockey match before. That was fascinating.”
Ferrell is crossing the country to promote Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, set to be released later in December.
