This 61-year-old comedian, whose last TV project was the Lifetime reality show, Roseanne’s Nuts, tweeted, “I’m never going to work in television again. I’m never going to even attempt it. I feel as if I’ve been insulted/assaulted for over a year.”

Barr continued, “Actually, for many years-from my first reality show to my second and two failed development deals. Don’t call me-I won’t call you. I’m gone.”

Roseanne added, “I don’t have the emotional stability to withstand being manipulated and lied to anymore-now that I’m old.”

The comic criticized one unnamed showrunner in particular, claiming the executive had her “removed totally from the process.” Barr added, “There were hardly any jokes in the script, and I didn’t connect with the characters at all. My family told me 2 quit-I kept on trying.”

Another Barr post reads, “Newsflash: Yes, I do have mental health issues. Decent ppl refrain from bullying, lying to, manipulating & taking advantage of ppl like me.”

Roseanne appeared to end her rant when she wrote, “Anyway, no more drunk tweeting late at night for me!”  But she still wasn’t done. She finally concluded her rant by writing, “I’m writing directing editing & starring in my new show by myself. F**k everybody.”

Barr’s popular ABC sitcom, Roseanne, aired from 1988-1997 and co-starred John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf and Sara Gilbert.
