(NEW YORK) — Target, still recovering from a data breach that affected millions of customers, said Tuesday some gift cards sold over the holiday shopping period “were not fully activated.”
The company said it’s less than 0.1 percent of the total sold during the holiday period but declined to provide a number.
Target said it apologizes and promised to honor the impacted cards. If a customer discovers their gift card was not activated they’re instructed to bring it to the guest service desk at their local Target store.
