“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”, “Frozen” Top Box Office
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — Movie theaters must have been busy over the Thanksgiving weekend, as The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Frozen each brought in over $65 million between Friday and Sunday.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire topped the box office for the second weekend in a row, earning $74.50 million between Friday and Sunday. The sequel stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, and Josh Hutcherson.
Frozen also made its mark at the weekend box office, bringing in $66.71 million between Friday and Sunday. Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Idina Menzel lend their voices to the animated film.
Thor: The Dark World took third this weekend with $15.49 million, while The Best Man Holiday came in fourth with $8.49 million.
