(FORT HALL, ID) – A Fort Hall man accused of trying to ram a Bannock County deputy’s patrol car has been arrested on a warrant. Thirty-three-year-old Kevin Toane faces felony charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and eluding an officer. Toane was shot by a deputy following a high-speed chase the day before Thanksgiving. The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes want an independent investigation into the shooting, which they believe may have involved excessive force. Toane remains in the Bannock County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
