(ANN ARBOR, Mich.) — Brandon Ashley scored 18 points and Nick Johnson hit six free throws in the final 25 seconds of the game, as top-ranked Arizona overcame an 11-point second half deficit and rallies past Michigan 72-70, Saturday.
Arizona (11-0) took its first lead since the 14:21 mark of the first half when Rondae Hollis-Jefferson converted an and one with . Hollis-Jefferson hit his free throw to put Ariz2:32 remaining, making the score 63-62. After that, the teams traded baskets before Arizona took the lead for good when Johnson hit two free throws after being fouled by Michigan big man Mitch McGary with 25 seconds left.
