Women’s Prison Warden Fired
Published at | Updated at(POCATELLO, ID) – The warden for the Pocatello Women’s Correctional Center has been fired. Fifty-year-old Nancy Espeseth, who has been on the job for less than a year, was arrested for a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence in October. State prison officials announced that Espeseth was relieved of her position as warden, but will still be employed by the Department of Corrections in an undisclosed capacity. LeAnn Hamilton is filling in as the interim warden until a long-term replacement is hired.
