(NORMAN, Okla.) — Ryan Spangler had 15 points and 17 rebounds as No. 23 Oklahoma routed No. 8 Oklahoma State 88-76 on Monday night.
Jordan Woodard added 18 points for the Sooners (17-4, 6-2 Big 12), who won their fourth straight game. They also defeated a ranked conference opponent for the third time this season.
Marcus Smart and and Phil Forte combined to score 42 points for the Cowboys, (16-4, 4-3) who lost for the second time in three games.
Forward Le’Bryan Nash fouled out after scoring eight points in 17 minutes.
Monday night’s contest marked the first time the Sooners and Cowboys met as ranked opponents since 2005.
The two teams will meet again on February 15 at Oklahoma State.
