4.4-Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Southern California

iStock/Thinkstock(FONTANA, Calif.) -- Almost 20 years to the day after a 6.7-magnitude earthquake left 57 people dead, the ground was shaking again  in southern California.

On Wednesday morning, a 4.4-magnitude earthquake rattled people out of bed.

“It woke me up out of my sleep,” said one local resident. “I didn't know what was going on. Woke me up suddenly. I was scared.”

There was some minor damage, but no reports of injuries.
