(WASHINGTON) — If a pro-marijuana group in Alaska has its way, the state could be the third in the nation to legalize pot.
A citizen’s group in the 49th state submitted a petition with 46,000 signatures on it to have a ballot question put to voters Aug. 19.
If the vote passes, Alaska would be the third state to legalize pot in the U.S.
