Aldridge Leads Trail Blazers Past T-Wolves, 115-104
Published at(PORTLAND, Ore.) — The Trail Blazers (33-11) defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves (21-22) on Saturday night, 115-104. Portland had six players score in double figures, led by forward LaMarcus Aldridge with 21.
Portland took control of the game in the second quarter as guards Mo Williams and Wesley Matthews each scored ten points in the period to give the Blazers an eight point lead going into half-time.
Guard Kevin Martin led the Minnesota with 30 points, while center Nikola Pekovic contributed 23 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Three-time NBA all-star Kevin Love recorded 15 points and 13 rebounds.
