Cook Will Resume Coaching

(POCATELLO, ID) – Former Pocatello High School basketball coach Loraine Cook says she’ll accept an offer to resume her old job. Cook was fired last October over a Facebook photo. Cook appealed, and District 25 administrators determined that her actions did not warrant her termination. The school board has said they’ll offer Cook her job back, but no official invitation has been extended. Cook, who also worked as a substitute teacher, will be cleared to coach the varsity girls basketball team next season.
