Curbside Recycling Growing in Popularity

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Curbside recycling is growing evermore popular in Idaho Falls. Craig Stephenson of Western Recycling says that since launching the program in 2012, more than 5,000 homes have started recycling. That amounted to 680 tons of material being recycled in 2013 alone. Stephenson says his company gets anywhere between 50 to 100 requests for recycling containers each week. The company charges $5 per month, and bins are emptied during trash collections every other week.
