Colin Kaepernick threw for 227 yards with a touchdown pass and ran for another 98 in the victory.

“Just trying to figure out a way to get that first down,” Kaepernick said of his final 11-yard scramble to the 27 with 1:13 left. “Had a play called, we didn’t get the look that we wanted. It worked out for us.”

Mason Crosby kicked a 24-yard field goal to tie things up before San Francisco’s final drive.

Dawson admitted the ball was harder to kick in the below freezing temperatures inside Lambeau Field.

“It is right now,” Dawson said when asked if that was the biggest kick of his career.  “I’ve waited a long time to win a playoff game, finally got to do it and it’s been worth the wait.”

Michael Crabtree was Kaepernick’s favorite target again in the win.  Crabtree pulled in eight catches for 125 yards.

San Francisco will now head to Carolina to take on the Panthers next weekend.

“Heck of a team, a lot of respect for them,” head coach Jim Harbaugh said.

Aaron Rodgers finished 17 of 26 with 177 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

“Frustrating way to end the season,” Rodgers said, who returned in the season finale to punch the Packers ticket to the playoffs with a win over Chicago.  “I think a lot of us felt the way things have gone the last four-five weeks there was something special about this year, very disappointing.”
