Ducks Shut Down L.A. Kings At Dodger Stadium, 3-0
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — The Anaheim Ducks (39-10-5; 83pts) shut down the Los Angeles Kings (29-18-6; 64pts) at Dodger Stadium on Saturday night, 3-0.
In the opening period, forward Corey Perry scored the Ducks first goal at 2:45 with an assist from captain Ryan Getzlaf. Just under six minutes later, forward Matt Beleskey scored Anaheim’s second goal. At 18:31 into the third period, Ducks forward Andrew Cogliano scored his 17th goal of the season on an empty-netter.
Ducks goaltender Jonas Hiller stopped 36 shots for his 20th career shutout.
Anaheim has now won 21 of their last 24 games while Los Angeles is on a five-game losing streak.
