Durant and the Thunder Cool Down the Heat

Getty S 6112 Kevin%20Durant?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1391061653750Ronald Martinez/Getty Images(MIAMI) — Kevin Durant scored at least 30 points for the 12th consecutive game — this time scoring 33 — to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder past the Miami Heat, 112-95, Wednesday night.

The Thunder (37-10) fell behind 22-4 to start the game, but by the end of the second quarter Oklahoma City erased the deficit and actually led 55-50.

Miami (32-13) shot 3 for 19 from 3-point range while the Thunder shot 16 for 27 from beyond the arc.

LeBron James scored a game-high 34 points for the Heat, who trailed by as many as 25 in the game.

Serge Ibaka scored 22 points and Jeremy Lamb added 18 for the Thunder, who has now won nine-straight.
