(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – The Idaho Falls Regional Airport has accepted a $500,000 grant to begin nonstop flights to an eastern hub. As their top choice, airport administrators want to reestablish a connection to Minneapolis-St. Paul. However, other options include Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago O’Hare, or Houston. Idaho Falls has three years to lure an airline into a flight contract. The grant will reportedly guarantee the airline revenue, regardless of whether the flights stay in the long term
