(BOISE, ID) – Three environmentalist groups are suing state and federal officials over a wolf control plan in central Idaho. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game has hired a professional hunter to track down and wipe out two wolf packs in the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness area. Wildlife biologists believe getting rid of wolves in the area would help revive elk herds, which have been decimated by predators over the past decade. Opponents to the hunts argue that the large-scale removal of wolves violates federal laws
