ESPN: Celtics Agree to Trade Lee to Grizzlies for Bayless

Bruce Bennett/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- The Boston Celtics reached an agreement to trade guard Courtney Lee to the Memphis Grizzlies in return for guard Jerryd Bayless, according to ESPN. The network reports a trade call with the league office has been scheduled for Monday.

To acquire Lee, the Grizzlies used the remaining value of a trade exception received when they dealt Rudy Gay to the Raptors last season.

The 28-year-old Lee is scheduled to make a little more than $11 million between this season and next.

Meanwhile, the Celtics receive a 25-year-old Bayless who is earning $3.1 million this season -- the last of his current contract. Bayless, who is playing in his sixth NBA season, is averaging eight points and 1.9 assists per game.

Lee is shooting .492 from the field this season and averages 7.4 points per game.
