ESPN: UCF’s Blake Bortles Entering NFL Draft
Published at(NEW YORK) — University of Central Florida redshirt junior quarterback Blake Bortles will declare for this year’s NFL Draft, according to ESPN College Football Insider Joe Schad.
Bortles is expected to make the official announcement Monday morning.
The 6-foot-3, 227 pound Bortles completed 67.8 percent of his passes for 3,581 yards 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions, while leading UCF to a 12-1 record and a win in the Fiesta Bowl.
Scouts Inc. lists Bortles as second to only Louisville’s Teddy Bridgewater for quarterbacks in the 2014 Draft.
