(BOISE, ID) – Governor ‘Butch’ Otter made budgeting the primary focus of his State of the State address Monday.  Otter wants to set aside $2-million for wolf control efforts, now that Idaho’s wolf numbers are approaching 700. An additional $15-million would go to water projects, including increasing storage capacity in Island Park Reservoir. Another $2-million would go toward equipping public schools with Wi-Fi.  Otter also vowed to not expand Medicaid under Obamacare, but promised to increase insurance coverage for state employees.
