Idaho Falls Considering Crosswalk Signals on Pancheri

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – The city of Idaho Falls is considering a plan to add crosswalk signals at the intersection of Pancheri Drive and Grizzly Avenue. More than 2,000 students in three schools live near the crosswalk, which currently has no signals. Options include a high-intensity flashing signal similar to one installed in Rexburg four years ago. Another proposal would feature a full traffic signal identical to those downtown. Until a final decision is made, District 91 administrators are adding more crossing guards and signs.
