(MIAMI) — Justin Bieber’s attorney has entered a not-guilty plea to DUI and resisting arrest charges the singer faces in Miami stemming from an arrest last week.
The plea was entered on Wednesday in Miami-Dade County. He also has an arraignment set for Feb. 14 on Valentine’s Day.
Justin Bieber was arrested around 4 a.m. on Jan. 23 after leaving a Miami Beach club for drag racing and alleged DUI. Police allege the pop singer admitted to having beer, marijuana and prescription drugs in his system.
Police also said he failed a sobriety test.
This is a first-degree misdemeanor, which could get him up to six months in jail and have his license suspended for six months.
