Mike Mularkey Hired As Titans’ Tight Ends Coach
Published at(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) — Tennessee Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt added former Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills head coach Mike Mularkey to his coaching staff on Wednesday, as a tight ends coach.
Before his coaching days, Mularkey suited up as a tight end for nine seasons (1983-1991) with the Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers. In 114 games, he had 102 receptions for 1,222 yards and nine touchdowns.
Mularkey spent two seasons (2004-2005) as coach of the Bills, where he compiled a record of 14-18. In his lone season in Jacksonville (2012), he went 2-14.
