Patriots Prepare for Peyton Manning

Doug Pensinger/Getty Images(FOXBOROUGH, Mass.) -- The New England Patriots trip to another Super Bowl will go through the Denver Broncos on Sunday in the AFC championship game.

The Patriots got the best of the Broncos 34-31 in week 12 at New England, but this will be a tougher task on the road.

"We have to play good against the run," Patriots defensive back Devin McCourty said. "It's going to be a tough matchup.  If you try to take away one thing, Peyton just takes advantage of something else."

The Broncos took care of the Chargers last Sunday and are hoping Manning can punch their ticket to another Super Bowl appearance.

"Peyton certainly is a key guy in it, the offense runs through him," Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said. "The offense runs through him, we've got to do a good job on everybody."

The Patriots finished 4-4 on the road this season and will be ready for a loud Denver crowd.

"The noise is tough," Patriots guard Logan Mankins said on Wednesday.  "We've played in loud stadiums all year. It comes down to discipline, communication, [and] all those things put together."
