The Penguins rebounded from Saturday night’s tough loss to the Dallas Stars to top the NHL’s worst team. Marc Andre-Fleury stopped 24 shots for his fourth shutout of the year.

“When you play 82, every one isn’t going to be perfect, but we’re trying to be the best, not just into late June, but every game,” Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma said.

Sidney Crosby added two assists for Pittsburgh (37-14-2, 76 pts) to extend his points streak in games against Buffalo to 16 games. He leads the league with 74 points.

The Penguins have a seven point lead over the Boston Bruins for the best record in the Eastern Conference.
