(ENGLEWOOD, Colo.) — Peyton Manning will make his third Super Bowl appearance on Feb. 2 against the Seattle Seahawks at MetLife Stadium, and he’s hoping to win his second Lombardi trophy.
Luckily for Manning and the Broncos, they have players on their roster who have played in a Super Bowl before.
“Coach Fox has had some guys that have had some experience share some of their thoughts with other players,” Manning said on Thursday. “He’s encouraged guys to ask questions or encourage guys that have experience to share any thoughts or tips.”
Manning isn’t worried about the cold weather or a possibility of snow on gameday.
“The Super Bowl is always special,” Manning said. “For a lot of players it’s their first time playing in one. I think the fact that it’s in New York it’s certainly going to be special.”
Manning will be playing in little brother Eli’s home turf and is happy to have him rooting for Denver.
“Eli pulls for me and I pull for him,” Manning said of his younger brother. “It’s been neat having the relationship, both having the same job for these past ten something years; we have a lot that we can relate to.”
