NFL(SEATTLE) — If there was a contest for the biggest Seattle Seahawks super fans, we would have a winner — or winners. The parents of a newborn baby girl have given her the middle name 12th, according to local media reports. Their last name is Mann. Get it? 12th Mann?
The “12th man” is a football reference to the fans in the Seahawks’ stadium. Even their team flag prominently features the number 12.
Football allows only 11 players on the field. The Seattle Seahawks are the most vocal in the NFL about their love for the “12th Man,” believing their fans give them the home field advantage.
The baby’s full name is Cydnee Leigh 12th Mann. Cydnee’s parents say they made the final decision about her name during the NFC Championship game.
