(BOSTON) — The Boston Red Sox signed outfielder Grady Sizemore to a one-year incentive laden deal on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old Sizemore will make $750,000 in base salary and could make up to $6 million with performance bonuses.
A three-time All Star, Sizemore hasn’t played in the major leagues since 2011 due to various injuries. Sizemore has had seven surgeries since 2009, including microfracture surgery on both knees.
