But with less than two weeks until the Sochi Winter Games begin, even the cheap seats haven’t sold out.

Tickets to the men’s singles luge are still available for $29, while a seat at the women’s hockey face-off between the United States and Switzerland is going for $41.

Fans willing to pay a little more virtually have their pick of the sporting events, including medal rounds for ice dancing and short track speed skating.

A benchmark for previous Olympic ticket sales was not immediately available from the International Olympic Committee. It remained unclear what impact mounting security threats and human rights issues would have on the overall attendance as compared to previous Winter Games.

Mike Kontos, spokesman for CoSport, told ABC News in an email that the Sochi Games have “generated good demand for tickets and packages.” CoSport is the exclusive Olympics ticket agent for North America and six European countries.

“It is difficult to compare demand for different editions of the Games because they all present different factors that affect sales,” Kontos said. “You can only really compare the end result with what you projected going-in based on experience.”

The Sochi 2014 organizing committee did not immediately return a request for comment.

The Games run from Feb. 7-23.

And in case you were wondering, tickets are still available for the opening and closing ceremonies, too, if you’re willing to fork over a few hundred dollars.
