(NEW YORK) — The markets ended Tuesday’s trading session in positive territory. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 105 points to close at 16,530.94. The S&P 500 gained 11 points at 1,837.88 to break a three-day losing streak and the worst opening to a new year since 2005. The Nasdaq Composite was up 39 points to close at 4,153.18.
United Health Group gained 3 percent Tuesday to lead the Dow after analysts at Deutsche Bank said they expected the nation’s largest health insurance company to charge customers more in premiums this year.
