Superman-Batman Movie Pushed to 2016
(LOS ANGELES) -- Production on the much-hyped and untitled Superman-Batman movie has been pushed to the second quarter of this year, bumping its release to 2016.
According to a statement from Warner Bros., the film is still in pre-production with Henry Cavill to reprise his role as Superman alongside Ben Affleck in his debut as Batman. A Peter Pan origin story, is expected to take the superhero blockbuster's place, debuting in July of 2015.
Director Zack Snyder will bring together the Caped Crusader and Man of Steel in the anticipated movie, co-writing the story with David S. Goyer.
The film will also star Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
