Titans Introduce Ken Whisenhunt
(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) -- Ken Whisenhunt was introduced as the new Titans head coach on Tuesday.
Whisenhunt spent 2013 as the Chargers offensive coordinator and is looking forward to his new journey in Tennessee.
"Detroit and Cleveland [are] both great organizations, but I think what it came down to was you have to feel comfortable about the direction that you're going and who you're doing it with," Whisenhunt said. "That's not to say anything about any other organization.
"I think one of the things that I've learned in my time in the NFL is that chemistry is an important part of this. When you feel like you have that chemistry and you're excited about it, that plays a big part in it," he continued about his move.
Before joining the Chargers, Whisenhunt spent six seasons as the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals. During that time, Whisenhunt compiled a 45-51 record and took the Cardinals to Super Bowl XLIII.
Whisenhunt takes over for Mike Munchak, who led the Titans to a 7-9 record this season.
