Kentucky’s starters provided most of the scoring they’d end up needing. Guard Aaron Harrison led the Wildcats with 21 points while forward James Young scored 20 points in the win.

Power forward Julius Randle scored 18 points, pulled down nine rebounds, and also had this second-consecutive game with three steals.

“You can’t emphasize everything with these guys,” Kentucky head coach John Calipari said after the game. “All we talked about was passion and intensity. I loved the fight. I love the emotion we played with, the enthusiasm we played with.”

In the loss, Missouri guard Jabari Brown scored a game-high 33 points. He’s now scored 20-plus points in six-straight games and leads the SEC in scoring at 22.3 points per game.
