(BOISE, ID) – More than 200 gay rights activists descended on the Idaho Capitol Monday.  Organizers with “Add the Words Idaho” staged their third demonstration this month in an effort to persuade Republican lawmakers to hold a hearing on the wording of the Idaho Human Rights Act. The group filled multiple floors in the rotunda, and included a number of self-identifying conservative supporters. Officials say they’d like to see the state add protections for gays and lesbians in employment, housing, and business services. No arrests were reported.
