The fourth-ranked Shockers (24-0, 11-0 MVC) outscored the Sycamores 7-2 over the final 2:01 to keep their quest for an unbeaten season alive.

They extended their school record winning streak to 24 and are 11-0 in conference play for the first time in school history.

“We won it with defense in the second half,” Wichita State head coach Gregg Marshall said. “…We didn’t shoot the ball nearly as well in the second half as we did the first. But in the second half, it was all about rebounding and defense.”

Manny Arop paced Indiana State (17-6, 8-3) with 16 points.

The Shockers and top-ranked Syracuse (22-0) are the only remaining unbeaten teams in the nation.
