Anna Nordqvist Wins LPGA Thailand

Thananuwat Srirasant/Getty Images Sport(CHONBURI, Thailand) -- Anna Nordqvist defeated defending champion Inbee Park of South Korea by two strokes to capture the LPGA Thailand at the Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course on Sunday.

Nordqvist finished the final round with a 68 for 15-under 273. She made seven birdies, while hitting one bogey and one double bogey. Meanwhile Park ended the tournament at 13-under 275.

Catriona Matthew of Scotland finished in third, four shots behind while Michelle Wie came in fourth at five shots back. Five players finished tied for fifth at nine under.

It’s Nordqvist’s third victory on the Tour, having won the LPGA Championship and the LPGA Tour Championship in 2009.
