Bonneville County Gets Armored Car

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – The Bonneville County sheriff’s office now has a new armored vehicle. Deputies say the $336,000 tactical response vehicle will be a great asset for assisting law enforcement agencies around southeast Idaho. The vehicle, which is similar to armored combat carriers used in the military, is equipped with cameras and even allows officers to control a robot from inside it when responding to standoffs and bomb threats.
