Hot Pockets Recalled After Incomplete Inspections

Nestle 021814 HotPocket?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1392734831387Nestlé(NEW YORK) — Giant Food, LLC announced a recall of two types of Hot Pockets snacks after it was determined that some of the ingredients were not subject to all required inspection.

The United States Department of Agriculture announced the recall of meat products from the Rancho Feeding Corporation due to incomplete inspections. The meat products were used in certain batches of the Philly Steak and Cheese hot pockets and the Croissant Crust Philly Steak and Cheese hot pockets.

The recall pertains to nine ounce and 54 ounce batches of the Philly Steak and Cheese product and nine ounce batches of the Croissant Crust Philly Steak and Cheese snacks. Customers can return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund, Giant Food said.

There have not been any reports of illnesses caused by the recalled Hot Pockets.
