(MEMPHIS, TENN) — Memphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley will be sidelined for at least one week with a sprained ankle, the team announced Saturday.
Conley was injured during the fourth quarter of Friday night’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was carried off the floor and left the arena in a walking boot.
An MRI Saturday revealed a Grade 2 sprain. He will be evaluated in a week before a timetable for his return to the court is determined.
Conley leads the team with averages of 18 points and 6.3 assists per game. Rookie Nick Calathes will start in his place.
