“Can’t go wrong with God. [He] told me to sit down, be quiet, and enjoy the peace,” Muema told the U-T San Diego.

Muema also says God told him if he sat out the combine, he would play for the Seattle Seahawks, which he called his “dream.”

In Muema’s Junior year, he ran for 1,244 yards and scored 15 touchdowns.

The combine will not be the only opportuinty for Muema to show scouts what he can do on the football field. San Diego States pro day will be held next month.

The U-T also reported that NFL teams had been made aware of Muema’s decision to leave the combine.
