Panthers OT Jordan Gross Set To Retire

The Panthers selected Gross out of Utah with the eighth overall pick in the 2003 NFL draft. He played in 167 games for Carolina and was selected to three Pro Bowls during his 11-year career.

This past season, the 33-year-old Gross anchored an offensive line that was 11th in the league in rushing. The Panthers won the NFC South division title with a record of 12-4, but loss in the NFC divisional playoffs to the San Francisco 49ers, 23-20.

Gross’ lone Super Bowl appearance came in his rookie season, when the Panthers fell to the New England Patriots, 32-29 in Super Bowl XXXVIII.
