Power Outages Prompt Traffic Concerns
Published at(RIGBY, ID) – As Rocky Mountain Power continues upgrades on the Goshen substation, the Idaho Department of Transportation is encouraging motorists to use more caution when they approach intersections with stoplights. Several blackouts, including one in Idaho Falls and Ammon Thursday, have knocked out power to otherwise busy intersections. When traffic lights are off, officials say all intersections should be treated as “all-way-stops.” The Goshen project, which began this week, should be completed sometime in March.
