It is the second time Kentucky has lost to Arkansas this season. The Wildcats lost to the Razorbacks back on Jan. 14, 87-85, when Qualls won the game in overtime with a slam dunk.

It is the first time in Kentucky coach John Calipari’s career that he has lost to the same SEC team twice in one season.

“They beat us to loose balls,” Calipari said. “We missed 10 one-foot shots. We missed all free throws that mattered. We have a lead late, we’re leaving timeouts and not executing.”

Kentucky (21-7, 11-4 SEC) trailed most of the first half and was down seven at the 20 minute break. But the Wildcats fought back, going on a 14-2 run in the second half to take a five point lead with 4:44 remaining in regulation. The Cats led by four with just over a minute to go, but Madden hit two free throws to tie the game at 60 all, which was the score to start overtime.

Coty Clarke scored seven of his 11 points in overtime to help secure the win for Razorbacks.

Arkansas (19-9, 8-7) has now won six of its last seven games.
