“Ride Along” Keeps Top Box Office Spot for Third Consecutive Week

The buddy-cop film beat out Frozen, which came in at number two spot with $9.31 million.

Ride Along stars Kevin Hart as an aspiring police officer and Ice Cube as an overprotective brother to Hart’s on-screen girlfriend, Tika Sumpter.

Disney’s animated movie Frozen rose from its fourth place on the list last weekend. Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Idina Menzel lend their voices to the movie.

That Awkward Moment, the week’s new release starring Zac Efron, Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan, rounded out the top three on the box office list between Friday and Sunday, bringing in more than $9 million.
