(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  — After close to a week of unknowns, District 91 has reinstated Skyline High School basketball coach Clint Cornish.  Cornish was ejected from the Bonneville game last Friday night after receiving two technical fouls.  It took five people to remove him from the gym.  Tuesday, he was suspended for the first game of the District 6 tournament against Idaho Falls.  A game the Grizzlies lost 71-70 in overtime.   The suspension was in accordance with the rules of the Idaho High School Activities Association.

District 91 Superintendent George Boland has conducted an investigation to determine if additional action would be needed.  Cornish met with Boland Thursday morning, and it was determined that the suspension would be lifted.

District 91’s statement:  “The primary objective of interscholastic activities in Idaho Falls School District 91 is to promote good sportsmanship and positive experiences.”

Cornish will coach the Grizzlies tonight against Madison High School.
