Nash’s leg made contact with Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich during the third quarter in the same spot where he suffered a fracture last season.

“I just took a knee to the spot where I broke my leg,” Nash said. “Ever since I did that I’ve had a lot of nerve issues there and it just really flared up on me. I don’t think it’s going to be a long-term thing at all. Hopefully it’s something that can just settle down this week, hopefully by Tuesday.”

The Lakers will host the Utah Jazz on Tuesday.  Nash will be re-evaluated Monday before determining whether or not he will be able to play.

The 40-year-old Nash is averaging 8.2 points and 5.0 assists in just nine games this season for the struggling Lakers.
