(JUPITER, Fla.) — Tiger Woods announced on his website Thursday that he will be playing in The Honda Classic on Feb. 27 followed by the WGC-Cadillac Championship on Mar. 6 and the Arnold Palmer Invitational on Mar. 20.
The 14-time major champion says he will not be teeing off in the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona on Feb. 19.
“I had planned to take the week off and travel with Lindsey (Vonn) to Sochi, but unfortunately that won’t happen,” Woods said in a statement. “Instead, I’ll stay home and prepare for the Florida tournaments.”
Woods’ girlfriend, gold medal-winning skier Lindsey Vonn, is not competing in the Winter Olympics after reinjuring her right knee in late December.
