U.S. Earns Silver and Bronze in Men’s Super-G
Published at(KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia) — Norway’s Kjetil Jansrud beat out Americans Andrew Weibrecht and Bode Miller as well as Canadian Jan Hudec to win the gold in the super-g.
Jansrud finished with a time of 1 minute, 18.14 seconds to earn Norway its fourth-straight Olympic super-g gold medal.
Weinbrecht earned the silver finishing .30 seconds behind Jansrud, while Miller and Hudec tied for the bronze.
Miller becomes the oldest Alpine skier to medal at age 36. He now has six Olympic medals putting him behind only Norway’s Kjetil Andre Aamodt (8) for the most Alpine medals ever.
This is Jansrud’s second medal of these Olympic games. He won the bronze in the downhill.
